Sentences

1. Tall – अग्लो (aglo)

Nepali: ऊ धेरै अग्लो मान्छे हो।
English: He is a very tall person.
Romanized: U dherai aglo mānchhe ho.

2. Short – छोटो (choṭo)

Nepali: मेरो भाईको केश छोटो छ।
English: My brother has short hair.
Romanized: Mero bhā’īko kēś choṭo cha.

3. Rent – भाडा (bhādā)

Nepali: हामीले घरको भाडा तिर्नुपर्छ।
English: We need to pay the rent for the house.
Romanized: Hāmīle ghar ko bhādā tirnuparchha.

4. Latrine – शौचालय (śaucālaya)

Nepali: शौचालय सफा गर्नुपर्छ।
English: The latrine needs to be cleaned.
Romanized: Śaucālaya safā garnuparchha.

5. Weather – मौसम (mausam)

Nepali: आजको मौसम राम्रै छ।
English: The weather is good today.
Romanized: Ājako mausam rāmrāi cha.

6. Fast/Early – छिटो (chiṭo)

Nepali: मैले छिटो काम पूरा गरे।
English: I finished the work fast.
Romanized: Maile chiṭo kām pūrā gare.

7. Slow/Late – ढिलो (ḍhilo)

Nepali: उसले ढिलो जवाफ दियो।
English: He gave a late reply.
Romanized: Usle ḍhilo javāf diyō.

8. Water Tap – पानीको नल (pānīko nal)

Nepali: पानीको नल बिग्रिएको छ।
English: The water tap is broken.
Romanized: Pānīko nal bigriyekō cha.

9. Thin – पातलो (pātalo)

Nepali: उसको शरीर पातलो छ।
English: He has a thin body.
Romanized: Usko śarīr pātalo cha.

10. Fat – मोटा (moṭā)

Nepali: मेरो कुकुर मोटा छ।
English: My dog is fat.
Romanized: Mero kukur moṭā cha.
