What is Pronunciation?(Uuchharan)

 Pronunciation = How a word is spoken clearly and accurately.
It determines how understandable and natural your speech sounds.

1. VOWELS

अ — ‘a’ like America

आ — ‘aa’ like father

इ — ‘i’ like sit

ई — ‘ee’ like see

उ — ‘u’ like put

ऊ — ‘oo’ like moon

ए — ‘e’ like hey

ओ — ‘o’ like go

2. BASIC CONSONANTS

क — ka

ग — ga

च — cha

ज — ja

ट — ṭa (retroflex)

त — ta (dental)
