1. Spoon – चम्चा (chamchā)

Nepali: म चम्चाले सुप खान्छु।
English: I eat soup with a spoon.
Romanized: Ma chamchāle sup khānchu.

2. Fork – काँटा (kāṅṭā)

Nepali: ऊ काँटाले पास्ता खान्छ।
English: He eats pasta with a fork.
Romanized: U kāṅṭāle pāstā khāncha.

3. Name – नाम (nām)

Nepali: तिमीहरूको नाम के हो?
English: What is your name?
Romanized: Timīharuko nām ke ho?

4. Daal (Lentils) – दाल (dāl)

Nepali: आमा दाल पकाउँदै हुनुहुन्छ।
English: Mom is cooking lentils.
Romanized: Āmā dāl pakāudai hunuhuncha.

5. Rice – भात (bhāt)

Nepali: उसले धेरै भात खायो।
English: He ate a lot of rice.
Romanized: Usle dherai bhāt khāyo.

6. Hand – हात (hāt)

Nepali: मैले हातले लेखेँ।
English: I wrote with my hand.
Romanized: Maile hātle lekhẽ.

7. Alone – एक्लै (eklai)

Nepali: म एक्लै घरमा बसेँ।
English: I stayed home alone.
Romanized: Ma eklai gharmā basẽ.

8. Friend – साथी (sāthī)

Nepali: मेरो साथी स्कूल गयो।
English: My friend went to school.
Romanized: Mero sāthī skul gayo.

9. Where – कहाँ (kahā̃

Nepali: तिमी कहाँ गएका थियौ?
English: Where had you gone?
Romanized: Timī kahā̃ gaekā thiyau?

10. Pen – कलम (kalam)

Nepali: उससँग रातो कलम छ।
English: He has a red pen.
Romanized: Usanga rāto kalam cha.
