This site was born out of my own frustration and determination. Over the past year, I’ve been on a quest to learn Nepali, but I found it challenging to access the resources I needed. This website results from my journey, and I hope it can make your learning experience smoother.
This site began with the idea that a place should be dedicated to learning Nepali that doesn’t just provide a few quizzes and vocabulary that seem unrelated to real communication.
Unlike some of the provided apps, like Ling and Duo Lingo, I find that the best way for me to learn is to follow a native speaker. That’s why I have a few native speakers with whom to develop my courses. The pronunciation they provide is that of a native speaker.
I also need to learn at my own pace and when I want to learn. That’s why I have set up some courses to start your conversations. We are also developing courses for more advanced users that will allow people to conjugate their verbs and communicate about more complex things.
Learning a new language is a journey, and it’s one that’s filled with frustration, joy and discovery. Starting with a few basic sentences can open up a whole new world of communication. I always find it heartwarming to see the encouragement and support from native speakers when I attempt to speak Nepali, no matter how imperfect my attempts may be.
Coming soon, you can book lessons with one of our teachers and connect with teachers who are committed to helping you.
In the meantime, we continue adding resources to provide access to the Nepali language.
Whether planning a short trip to Nepal or getting ready for a long-term stay, these resources will make your stay more meaningful.
Namaste
