In Nepali, the verb “to be” (हुनु – hunu) is irregular and changes depending on tense, aspect, and formality. When used in continuous tenses, the conjugation of the Nepali verb “to be” (हुनु) in continuous tenses, using its root form “भ”, transforms into भइरहेको / भइरहेकी / भइरहेका based on gender and number.

  • भइरहेको – for male singular
  • भइरहेकी – for female singular
  • भइरहेका – for plural subjects
