1. Farm – फार्म / खेत (phārma / khet)

Nepali: ऊ फार्ममा काम गर्छ।
English: He works on a farm.
Romanized: Ū phārmmā kām garcha.

2. To write – लेख्नु (lekhnu)

Nepali: म निबन्ध लेख्दैछु।
English: I am writing an essay.
Romanized: Ma nibandha lekhdai chu.

3. To read – पढ्नु (paḍhnu)

Nepali: ऊ पुस्तक पढ्दैछ।
English: He is reading a book.
Romanized: Ū pustak paḍhdai cha.

4. Hello – नमस्ते (namastē)

Nepali: नमस्ते! तपाईंलाई कस्तो छ?
English: Hello! How are you?
Romanized: Namastē! Tapāī̃lāī kasto cha?

5. Sociology – समाजशास्त्र (samājśāstra)

Nepali: म समाजशास्त्र पढ्छु।
English: I study sociology.
Romanized: Ma samājśāstra paḍhchu.

6. To clean – सफा गर्नु (saphā garnu)

Nepali: उसले कोठा सफा गर्‍यो।
English: He cleaned the room.
Romanized: Usle koṭhā saphā garyo.

7. Month – महिना (mahinā)

Nepali: एक महिनामा तलब आउँछ।
English: Salary comes in a month.
Romanized: Ek mahināmā talab āuncha.

8. Two hundred – दुई सय (dui saya)

Nepali: उससँग दुई सय रुपैयाँ छ।
English: He has two hundred rupees.
Romanized: Usanga dui saya rupaiyā cha.

9. College – कलेज (kalej)

Nepali: म कलेज जान्छु।
English: I go to college.
Romanized: Ma kalej jānchu.

10. Nowadays – आजकाल (ājakāl)

Nepali: आजकाल इन्टरनेट सबैको आवश्यकता हो।
English: Nowadays, the internet is a necessity for everyone.
Romanized: Ājakāl iṇṭarneṭ sabaiko āvaśyaktā ho.
