Sentences

1. To sell – बेच्नु (bechnu)

Nepali: उनीहरू फलफूल बेचिरहेका छन्।
English: They are selling fruits.
Romanized: Unīharū phalphul bechirahēkā chan.

2. To look for – खोज्नु (khojnu)

Nepali: म मेरो कलम खोज्दै छु।
English: I am looking for my pen.
Romanized: Ma mero kalam khojdai chu.

3. Crowd – भीड (bhīḍ)

Nepali: बजारमा धेरै भीड थियो।
English: There was a big crowd in the market.
Romanized: Bajārmā dherai bhīḍ thiyo.

4. Kind/Type – प्रकार (prakār)

Nepali: यहाँ धेरै प्रकारका कपडा छन्।
English: There are many types of clothes here.
Romanized: Yahā̃ dherai prakārkā kapaḍā chan.

5. Foreigners – विदेशीहरू (vidēśīharū)

Nepali: विदेशीहरू नेपाल घुम्न आएका छन्।
English: Foreigners have come to visit Nepal.
Romanized: Vidēśīharū Nepāl ghumna āekā chan.

6. Some – केही (kehī)

Nepali: मलाई केही किताबहरू चाहिन्छ।
English: I need some books.
Romanized: Malāī kehī kitābharū chāhīncha.

7. Newspaper – पत्रिका (patrikā)

Nepali: हरेक बिहान म पत्रिका पढ्छु।
English: I read the newspaper every morning.
Romanized: Harek bihān ma patrikā paḍhchu.

8. Salary – तलब (talab)

Nepali: उहाँको तलब उच्च छ।
English: His salary is high.
Romanized: Uhā̃ko talab ucca cha.

9. Just like that – त्यत्तिकै / यसैगरी (tyattikai / yasaigari)

Nepali: उसले त्यत्तिकै पैसा फ्याँक्यो।
English: He threw the money just like that.
Romanized: Usle tyattikai paisā phyãkyo.

10. How much – कति (kati)

Nepali: यो कति पर्छ?
English: How much is this?
Romanized: Yo kati parcha?
